BIOGRAPHY
Jesse Pabon is the seed that grew La Krema, one of the hottest Merengue / Bachata groups in
Western New York. His sound and influence drew Latin music lovers to the band; their
popularity exploded and was soon traveling nationally and internationally, headlining shows in
major cities, including Toronto.
To understand where Jesse Pabon is today, we must understand where he came from. Jesse
became enamored with the sound of renowned Merengue and Bachata groups in his youth. This
love grew into a passion as he performed with various groups in Western New York. Jesse soon realized the sound and flavor he wanted to bring to the music community and from this, La Krema was born. Fate smiled on Jesse with the opportunity to work in the studio of legendary Merengue artist Bonny Cepeda. With the help of Roberto Ayala, La Krema recorded their first
CD in 2002 titled “La Krema”. The album was well received by the public and by fellow musicians. The success of their first album opened the door for greater opportunities. This experience in the studio helped Jesse hone his skills as a producer and allowed La Krema to
explore and further develop a sound of their own. It was at this critical turning point that he joined forces with world renowned record producer Richard Marcell, Swing Factory Music, and went on to produce and record his second CD “A Bailar.” Unafraid of taking a Billboard top
single and making it his own, Jesse recorded a remix of Cool and the Gang’s song “Cherish the Love”. Cool and the Gang complemented him on the remix, bringing a latin flavor to the R&B hit.
Today, Jesse spends his time recording and producing new singles and currently working on his
third album.
